Seniors featured in weekend edition of USA Today.

Not to be preaching doom and gloom but reality and readiness, you would do well to look at this weekend’s paper regarding the shrinking nest egg.

It is one of the main reasons for my radio show on Saturday mornings. Not enough people are sounding the alarm and preaching preparedness.

Katrina caught most of the Gulf Coast flat footed and much of it flooded. Eventually, we are coming back. Lives will never be “normal”, but there was some help to get us through.

When the Age Wave begins its’ surge across this nation's society and economy, there is no US to bail out the US.

Learn well the most important lesson from Katrina- he whose preparation is to rely on the Federal Government is a fool asking to be burned.

The key now is not just financial planning, but education regarding our interlocking global economies.

Look at theeconomist.com for a good resource.
